Candidate Requirements for Teachers & Assistants:

is punctual and reliable
is able to follow the school’s guidelines, policies and philosophies
is communicative with co-workers, families & children
is respectful of each child and has strong work values/ethics

is EEC Certified

Duties and Responsibilities of Teachers:

Plan and conduct an effective child development program to meet the physical, social, emotional and intellectual needs of each child based on the goals and general curriculum plan
Ensure that child care routines follow the guidelines of the Department of Early Education & Care
Create an open, nurturing environment for young children to play & learn.

Classroom Hours:

We ask all candidates and employees to be flexible Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:15-3:15 PM. Classroom times may vary depending on enrollment and school needs. MPS is a part-time private school.
